Salto KS Integration

This is a technical guide for integrating the Salto KS access control system with LIKE MAGIC

1. Salto KS Subscription

Please check with your partner to see which subscription was purchased.
The advantages of the Pro Subscription:

  • Support for the Do Not Disturb button on the door (if available)

  • Alerting via task management when doors or IQs are offline

If no Pro subscription has been purchased, these features cannot be activated. An upgrade is possible at any time via the respective Salto Partner.

2. Requirements & Set-up

In order for Salto KS to be set up correctly with LIKE MAGIC, our team requires admin access in Salto KS.
Please send the invitation to the Salto KS user and assign admin rights to our user.

Installtation: Please note that we can only get started once all doors and IQs have been installed and are online.

3. Encoder IDs

Make a note of the encoder IDs so that you can add them yourself later in the door settings.


4. Changes

If your company makes any changes to the Salto infrastructure, we must be informed. The reason for this is that we set up our system with your Salto system when you first connect. This applies to changes such as:
  • new Door Locks
  • new IQs
  • and other changes connected to the Salto Infrastructure
After you have notified us via a support ticket, we will then need to adjust our setup so that we can support the change and all your guests have access to the room etc. as usual.
