Self Service Kiosk Set-Up – Android

Step-by-step guide

1. Open the website
   • Open Chrome or any other browser

   • Open the URL: XXX
     (You will receive this URL from your contact person or the support team)

2. Add to Home Screen
   
   • Tap the menu (three dots)
   • Select Add to Home Screen or Install App
   • Confirm by tapping Add
3. Open the App
   
   • Find the new app icon on the Home Screen

   • Tap it to launch the web app

4. Open the Kiosk menu
   

   • Place four fingers on the screen at the same time

   • Hold for 4 seconds until the Kiosk menu appears

5. Enter the Kiosk-ID
   • Enter the Kiosk ID: XXX
     (You will receive this ID from your contact person or the support team)

   • Confirm the entry

6. Enable Screen Pinning (Preparation)
   

   • Go to Settings → Security & Privacy (or Security)

   • Find Advanced options or Additional security settings

   • Enable Screen Pinning
   • Optional: Enable Ask for PIN before unpinning
7. Pin the App
   • Open the Overview screen (swipe up from the bottom of the screen)
   • Tap the app icon of the web app
   • Select Pin or tap the pin icon
   • The app is now locked in Kiosk Mode
8. Exit Screen Pinning
   • The app is now locked in Kiosk Mode
   • Hold the Back and Overview buttons at the same time
   • On newer devices: swipe up from the bottom and hold
   • Enter PIN/passcode if requested
